Our Process Overview
✓ Book brief 30-minute Discovery Call or select a Package Offer to get started (***if you are unsure about what you might need, which package offer is ideal OR a CUSTOMIZED OFFER created just for you, we will discuss during the 30-minute Discovery Call and Dr. Kym will organize and order testing for your unique needs.***)
✓ Complete functional testing as directed PRIOR TO your first in-depth 75-minute appointment (We will instruct you how to complete the testing upon booking services. We ask with package offers that you book your initial visits ~4-6 weeks out to ensure we have test results back in hand to review prior to your first visit. If necessary, we will message you and work with you to schedule accordingly).
At the Initial 75-Minute Consultation Visit, Dr. Kym will:
✓ Perform a complete, in-depth review of your health history, primary symptoms and issues of concern, lab work/test results and wellness goals
✓ Assess lifestyle factors including medications, supplements, fitness, nutrition, social and environmental factors, etc.
✓ Make recommendations through lifestyle changes, whole food nutrition, personalized medicine and/or use of professional-grade supplements as needed
✓ Complete a detailed summary note with direct guidance and an outlined plan of action
✓ Provide additional resources and the process for how to contact Dr. Kym with questions
✓ Schedule follow-up visit(s) based on individual needs

How to Get Started
We start with a 30-Minute Discovery/Intro Call ($60) and a brief discussion of your primary health issues, symptoms of concern and wellness goals. If you need help determining appropriate functional testing, are unsure about Package Offers, or want a customized plan Dr. Kym will help you determine what is needed during this visit.
A full health history and intake would be assessed during a 75-minute Initial Consultation/Test Results Review Visit ($250 individually OR this 75-minute visit is already included in package offers).
All precision health test kits/fees are SEPARATE from consultation fees and will be discussed with clients at the time of the Discovery Call if needed to determine what may be most appropriate. Test fees per kit generally range from $150-$800 depending on the intricacy of the test needed to help identify individualized data for your body. Common testing modalities are saliva, urine, serum (blood), blood-spot, and hair. Some of the companies utilized for testing include, but are not limited to ZRT Laboratory, Diagnostic Solutions, Trace Elements, Genova, Doctor’s Data, Real Time Laboratories, Vibrant Wellness, Precision Analytical, Access Medical Labs, LabCorp, KBMO, etc. I encourage you to visit their personal websites if you are looking for details regarding how these tests may help identify root-cause health issues.

I provide in-depth, extensive interpretation of results with detailed recommendations through a combination of lifestyle changes, functional nutrition, professional-grade supplements, personalized medicine, supporting documents and printable handouts, direct resources and referrals to additional specialists as necessary to guide you to optimize and support whole body wellness.
If prescription medication for personalized medicine approaches is warranted, I work directly with and make recommendations to collaborating prescribing providers to assist clients. I am happy to work with and coordinate with your primary care practitioner if they are open to functional medicine strategies. Functional medications can be personalized to help support clients such as bio-identical hormone support (BHRT), customized thyroid medication formulations, low-dose naltrexone (for various uses such as autoimmune conditions, pain, inflammation, etc.; visit www.ldnresearchtrust.org to learn more), methylene blue, oxytocin, ivermectin, and more. I strive to keep pace with modern advancements in medicine for clients to have a well-rounded approach to address health concerns.
I review lab work/functional medicine tests if you obtain labs outside my practice that you would like me to review when we start working together. All visits will include a detailed summary note with specific guidance and recommendations (i.e. how much and when to take supplements and/or medications, how long, what signs/symptoms to monitor for, etc.), resources and supporting documents to print out and utilize. You have access to asking questions directly to me through my online portal. I answer questions for clients 9am-5pm M-F and strive to do so within 3-5 business days.
All clients working directly with me will receive a 20% discount to my Fullscript professional-grade supplement platform (clients who book larger package offers receive higher supplement discounts for life as listed in those packages).
Blood work labs are ordered individually as needed OR clients have the option to complete a Comprehensive Functional Blood Work Wellness Panel (ranges from $475-$530 depending what labs are needed). This panel provides a baseline evaluation of your health and wellness status and assessment of deficiencies or imbalances as a current snapshot in time. Panel includes:
Full/comprehensive thyroid assessment panel (not just 1-2 thyroid markers, but a FULL panel to get the whole picture: TSH, free T3, free T4, thyroid peroxidase, thyroglobulin antibodies, reverse T3, etc.), complete blood count with differential, basic metabolic panel, endocrine and metabolic health markers including fasting insulin, hemoglobin A1c, a more in-depth cholesterol panel with particle counts, coronary risk assessment, inflammation markers, iron/anemia, vitamin B12, vitamin D, folate, magnesium and zinc levels, methylation potential, free and total testosterone levels, other hormone markers and more!

This is an all-inclusive discounted, bundled blood work panel that I recommend getting checked once yearly minimum. Some practitioners may not run blood work that provides the “whole picture” and things may get missed which can correlate with continued symptoms of concern. I help identify deficiencies and discrepancies for clients who often get told “…all your blood work looks normal” yet you still feel something’s off in your body.

I am NOT able to accept insurance for my services, however YES, these services may be HSA/FSA eligible! This is made possible through my partnership with TrueMed.
